Love is love...and love is colorful! We had such a blast chasing down some of the most vibrant murals in Los Angeles for Adam and Adam’s artsy LA engagement session. 

Adam Bucci and Adam Huss: Adam². This fun-loving couple first met 7 years ago when Bucci was Huss’ understudy in a local Los Angeles musical and the two quickly were quickly smitten with each other’s warm, generous (and talented!) hearts. It’s not often you’ll find two people more handsome and more caring. 

Murals of Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Session

Adam and Adam chose to do a hometown engagement shoot in the city where they met and fell in love, Los Angeles. We followed these two around Downtown LA snapping photos at iconic murals (those angel wings!) and stumbling upon hidden pops of colors. It was a laid-back engagement session that felt more like hanging out with old friends, exploring our city, and snapping a few pics along the way.

Wardrobe tip: When color is a focal point of your backdrop, opt for a casual, neutral look (Adam squared nailed this!). Plus, sliding on a pair of sunglasses for a few pics makes for instant movie star status. 

Incorporating Favorite Local Spots

We rounded out the shoot with a stop at the Angel City Brewery. I always love incorporating local haunts into engagement sessions –– it gives a sense of personality and context to your photos. It’s so much fun to look back and see you and your partner just doing your everyday thing. 

Not only are you commemorating your engagement, but also the memories of your go-to date night restaurant or Saturday morning coffee shop. And those little moments, the ones where you’re laughing or snuggling in your favorite spot, are some of the sweetest ones to remember.
