We think any kind of farm makes a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding, but, a tree farm –– now that takes things to another level! Halie and Mason were married in the company of friends, family, and evergreen trees at the Twain Harte Tree Farm in Northern California.

When we’re talking about timelines with couples, one of the first questions on the agenda is always, “Are we doing a first look?” Well, if you ever wanted someone to tell you the reason why you should do one, Halie’s your girl.

Bride’s Favorite Moment: The First Look

Looking back on her favorite moment from their big day, she said, “seeing Mason for the first time reminded me that, no matter what went wrong, we love each other and were going to be husband and wife at the end of the day.”

And, I’m willing to bet that moment was one of Mason’s favorites, too. How excited do you think he was to see his beautiful bride? Halie was a bridal vision in the heart of an enchanted evergreen forest. She wore a vintage-inspired lace gown, a delicate floral headpiece, and romantically undone hair. (What we really loved was the pair of glitter Keds® hiding under her wedding finery!)

A Joyful Wedding Ceremony at Twain Harte Tree Farm

June 29th came together exactly as Halie and Mason had hoped –– a day full of love and loved ones! From their ceremony among the majestic evergreens of Twain Harte Tree Farm to their joyful reception at the Gables Cedar Creek Inn, this wedding, planned by the couple themselves, is one that will go down in the record books as full of wide-eyed smiles and magical moments.

Busting a Move at a Gables Cedar Creek Inn Wedding Reception

After Mason wiped away Halie’s happy tears from their ceremony, they waltzed their way over to Gables Cedar Creek Inn where charming, personal details were sprinkled throughout –– nods to their home states, bride and groom cocktails, and a cupcake table that we’re still dreaming about.

The day closed out with everyone from ages 2 to 92 hitting the dance floor. Halie and Mason sure know how to bring together a group of people that is ready to have a good time. And, have you ever seen a more fun mother-son dance?! These two got the party started!
